Gnome desktop customization - Dark Theme

This little article, will simply guide to the steps to have a dark style on Gnome Desktop like the screenshots here
all these steps starts from the base of default Ubuntu theme "Human".
First of all check on "System->Preferences->Theme" for these items:
- Theme Preferences (main them, controls, colors, window border and icons) set to Human
# sudo apt-get install aquamarine beryl beryl-manager beryl-manager beryl-plugins-unsupported beryl-settings beryl-ubuntu emerald emerald-themes heliodor gnome-icon-theme gnome-icon-theme-gartoon gnome-themes gtk2-engines gnome-art gnome-icon-theme-blankon gnome-icon-theme-dlg-neu gnome-icon-theme-gperfection2 gnome-icon-theme-nuovo gnome-icon-theme-suede gnome-themes-extras
# apt-get install gnome-art emerald emerald-theme
Emerald theme: Scaled Black Mod
Gnome-Art:
- Art->Desktop Themes->Application: Clearlooks-DarkOrange
- Art->Background->GNOME: Foresight
- Art->Other Themes->Login Manager: pixelGDM / Bee at Work /
- Art->Other Themes->Splash Screen: Black-Art2
Terminal
Setup your new custom profile, from a Terminal session, goto the menu Edit->Profiles and create a new one, after that follow the tango colors theme customization:
Desktop Notifications:
# gconftool-2 -t string -s /apps/notification-daemon/theme Standard
